Cult Nails Internet Meme Giveaway!!
If you haven’t heard it’s Cultober, a month full of giveaways hosted by the illustrious brand, Cult Nails. You can read all about it on the Cult Nails Blog. I feel really honored to be one of the lucky bloggers to participate in all the fun. The wonderful Maria, founder of Cult Nails, has pretty much given me carte blanche with this giveaway so I’ve decided to do an Internet Meme Contest.
The prize is $50.00 worth of any Cult Nails goodies of YOUR CHOICE! In order to help you select, I will be posting swatches of some great Cult Nails polishes this month.
There are only two requirements. First, you must follow Cult Nails on Twitter. Second, you must submit an internet meme in the comments section of this post. Your comment must include your twitter user name. *Edit* Multiple entries are allowed.
The concept here is similar to the Haiku Contest - your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to create a nail polish related internet meme. You can use any medium, for example, you can create a Rage Comic, a someecard, an I Can Haz Cheezburger type photo with a caption, a fail image with a caption, a Mckayla is Not Impressed image, anything goes. Also, you can cover any nail polish related topic, you can poke fun at us bloggers, brands, colors, collector habits, i.e. hauling, hoarding, purging - whatever strikes your fancy. I will choose the winner based on creativity and hilarity. : D I know this contest is a little more involved than typical contests but the prize is worth it and I’m hoping everyone will have fun!

Submitting you entry: Your entry can be submitted by posting your creation in the comments section of this post. Since one of the requirements is following Cult Nails on twitter and because the winner will be announced on Twitter, you will have to include your Twitter handle in your comment for confirmation purposes. Feel free to tweet your entry to me as well, although it’s not required. Following me on twitter is also not a requirement, but I would love it if you did. : )
As an added incentive, Cult Nails is running a parallel Twitter contest in which you can win $100 worth of any Cult Nails goodies! You can read about it here. I will get to choose one of the winners – and Maria says I can even offer the soon to be OOS Cult Nails Awakening as a prize!
Official Rules: The approximate value of the prize is $50.00. Although you get to choose which Cult Nails polishes or products you want as a part of your prize, your choice is subject to the availability of the polish or product. This prize is non-transferable. There are no cash or other substitutes of prizes by winner. The Polish Addict reserves the right to substitute similar prizes of equal or greater value in the event the above prize is unavailable for any reason. Individual, parent, or legal guardian of the winner is solely responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes with respect to the grand prize. Prize will be mailed from Cult Nails to the winner’s physical mailing address. Please allow six (6) to eight (8) weeks for delivery.
By entering or accepting the prize in this contest, winner agrees to be bound by these Official Rules, Terms, and Conditions and to conform to all federal, state and local laws and regulations.
No purchase necessary to enter or win. This contest runs from October 8th, 2012 through October 15th, 2012 at 12:01AM EST. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Twitter. We hereby release Twitter of any liability.
Eligibility This contest is open internationally unless prohibited by their local state/country. Prizes won by minors will be awarded to their parent or legal guardian on their behalf. For reference, the age of majority is 18 years old in the United States, with the exception of Alabama (19), Delaware (19), Mississippi (21), and Nebraska (19).
How To Win One (1) winner will be selected by me from all eligible entries after contest closes. In the event that the original winner does not meet eligibility requirements or he/she forfeits the prize, the prize may be awarded to the next eligible participant chosen by me. All entries must be received on or before October 15th, 2012 at 12:01AM EST. The winner will be notified via twitter. Winner will have 48 hours to claim prize after initial notification. If winner fails to respond within 48 hours, an alternate winner will be selected.
