I do wish this collection had included the other two wives though, Katherine Parr (the older one) and Anne of Cleves (the ugly one). You should definitely read that book , it is excellent!

Essie Sew Psyched is actually a dead-on dupe for RBL Diddy Mow. I had been lemming Diddy Mow hardcore until I stumbled upon a comparison of the two and realized I already owned the exact same color. I’m pretty sure Sew Psyched is core, or if not is at least still widely available online, so it should be a pretty easy (and more affordable!) lemming to squash. Save your money for the re-release!

Btw, Catherine Howard was Henry VIII’s fifth wife, not his fourth. His fourth marriage was to Anne of Cleves and it ended quickly in divorce because he allegedly found her so incredibly ugly. I think he referred to her as “that mare of Flanders.” She was lucky to escape with her head, and I’ve read she actually stuck around court for years and was somewhat of a favorite because she wasn’t trying to get anything for herself! Also, if anyone cares, an easy mnemonic device to remember what happened to each of the wives is this rhyme: Divorced, Beheaded, Died. Divorced, Beheaded, Survived. :-)
