The Polish Addict’s Top 20 Polishes of All Time: #10 OPI – Time-less is More

A lot of you asked me for a good alternative to the white version of OPI Bubble Bath so I figured now would be a good time to pick up the count down again. OPI Time-less is More is whiter than Bubble Bath and it doesn’t lean towards pink but I passionately love this color. In my endless search for the perfect off-white, I’ve tried many, many polishes and, to me, this is absolutely the most perfect one. It should be everyone’s go to off-white. You can read my original post on this color here1.
I also have an announcement unrelated to nail polish. Some of you may remember that I’ve been on the job hunt. I’ve received an offer from the State Attorney’s Office (Florida’s equivalent of a District Attorney’s Office) in which I’ve been interning and I’ve decided to take the position! I’m so excited that I’ll have the opportunity to continue working with them as an Assistant State Attorney upon my graduation. This is truly a dream come true. Annnnnd since this is my final semester of law school and I won’t be interviewing any longer, I don’t have any professional obligations so I can wear ridiculously unprofessional colors! For those of you that like to see professional colors, I’ll still be posting those too but now there will a good mix that should make everyone happy.
- You can see the progression in my photography skills by looking at this picture and comparing it to my more recent photography. I think I’ve come a pretty long way. :) ↩

Does this color have a pink tinge at all? I’m really interested. Maybe this will be my first OPI color buy! :) The only OPI product I own is their natural base coat.
Congratulations, by the way! :) I look forward to the non-professional colors as well – although I rarely wear them, they are always good for school spirit days and such. :)

Congratulations Steph! I knew you could do it! I’m reading the book right now by Rhonda Saunders, the ADA in California who was instrumental in putting into place the first anti-stalking laws in California which were the basis for the rest of the country and the world. It’s fascinating. I look forward to your posts!

Congratulations! That’s fantastic!
I love Timeless Is More as well but my brush has one bristle sticking out so it’s always really hard to apply, but still worth it.

Molly – It has no pink tinge at all, that’s why I love it. : ) And thank you!
SusiQ – Thank you!!!! : )
Alison – Thanks so much!! <3
Melli – Thank you! Lol it was all so sudden I still don’t truly believe it. ; )
Marsha – Thank you so much! That sounds like an awesome read. Let me know what you think when you finish it. : )
Manda – Thank you! And that happens to me constantly. I use a cuticle nipper to nip off the rouge bristle at the base of the brush. I also nip bristles when one bristle is longer than the others. It’s pretty much how I take care of all my bristle issues lol.

Congrats girl! Looks like a nice color too, will have to check into this. Loving the countdown!
And yay to non-professional colors!

CONGRATS!!! that is so awesome for you that your internship turned into a real deal! awesome. this is a lovely color, however it seems to blend in with the rest of the nudes. do you have a guide to nudes? weird request huh? but i like to hear from polish fanatics their critique and reviews on colors… e.g.:’these pinkish nudes go best with this skintones..’ or ‘this pinkish nude is more unique than this one because…’ does there exist such a thing? :))))))))))))))))))))))

This is a great blog.. I love your nails.. are they real or acrylic?
January 13th, 2009 at 11:02 am
Brooke – lol. : )
Kia – Hmm. To my knowledge something like that does not exist but polish companies like Essie and China Glaze do market colors for particular skin tones. As a rule of thumb I think darker skin is more forgiving, I feel like, for the most part I can wear anything. Lighter skin is more tricky.
Henna – My nails are real. ; )

Okay I see. Would you say that Time-less is More is similar to an opaque off-colored french nail polish? (the one for the whole nail – not the tips)
January 18th, 2009 at 9:32 am
congrats on the job!

Molly – It’s probably too pigmented to be used for an off-colored french.
Caitie – Thank you! : )

Hi! I just have to tell you how much i LOVE your website. I’m always on here..maybe more than I should be lol! I have a few questions, if you don’t mind. I fell in love with your “Time-less is more” swatch so I bought it of course. Do you think this color would look good on fair skin? Or will it wash me out? I just love it so much. I also liked “Bubble Bath” but Trade Secret seemed to have the more pink version, so I opted out. I can’t say pink looks great on me. And one last question. I hear gold polish is going to be really in this season. I saw “Curry up don’t be late” by Opi and it seems to resemble the Chanel gold in a swatch you have. I may be completely wrong, as I’m not expert. Just wondering if you’ve seen this polish and if you like it. Thanks again :)

OMG!! after reading ur praise for “Time-less is more”, i’ve been lemming for it. Now, i finally bought it!! I was kinda disappointed when i applied the 1st layer: the colour refused to go opaque like in ur picture =(… but after the 2nd and 3rd layers, i fell in love!! it’s like a milky soft white. i thought it would make a harsh contrast with my skin, but no, it blends/matches so well.. i’m surprised myself :O!! *jumps around of happiness*
anyhow, thanks stephanie! ^^
