I saw the No More War color in a magazine. it’s a very cool green. I also thought your nail polish freakout was hilarious. I get pretty overlyexcited about getting new colors as well. waiting for an RBL promotion so I can take the first plunge into RBL!

Really late to this; I purchased Bruise and Teal in October and loved them, but wasn’t sure about No More War. I’m a pasty-white redhead, so I mulled this over for quite a while. Well, I bought it and LOVE IT! It is so unique, went on like a dream, and I can’t stop looking at my nails. I agree with Glynis that I get tip and cuticle pull when I use RBL, and when I put on No More War I did wrap the tips, which worked. Now I have to figure out how to do that with the cuticles!

You have lovely pics and they help so much in my nail polish purchases.

Ah, tip pull sucks. I haven’t had that problem specifically with RBL but it does happen to me sometimes. Poshe might be the culprit. The *best* way to guard against tip pull is to wrap the tip of your nail with your top coat (brushing horizontally over the tip) then painting the rest of the top coat on quickly. That trick has pretty much taken care of all my tip pull issues. If that doesn’t help then it might be time to either chuck the bottle of Poshe or thin it. Thick polish (which forces you to apply thick coats) causes tip pull. Too many coats can do it too. Let me know if you problem continues, if so we’ll brainstorm some more solutions.

Actually, I want to ask you a question.. are you experiencing cuticle pull from RBL? I used Poshe basecoat and topcoat with it and I notice a significant amount of cuticle pull? How do I avoid it? Should I get their own basecoat and topcoat?

Why oh why did I happen upon this site? I’m new to the polish addiction thing and I live in the UK so had to,just had to spend a ridiculous amount ordering from RBL. It hurt. Thanks for a lovely site. Please no more posts on RBL.

I’m sitting here at work laughing about the FedEx story because I am the EXACT same way. I stalk my packages. Yesterday the UPS guy here at work hid my package and claimed he didn’t have anything for me. He let me have a breakdown at the front desk before he gave me the package! LOL!
