I love yellow. Bright effin’ sunny yellow. And it makes me look green because my undertones are yellow. Tragic. I wear it anyway. : )

My white whales are orange and peach an all in between. I look like I scrubbed my hands in too hot water when I wear peachy colors. Yes, gold is also a problem, of course. Hopeless case with my skintone.

I love oranges…nail polish and shirts. But the color is TERRIBLE on my pale, cool toned skin. No Japanese Koi for me :(

I love yellows too. Is your skin color similar to mine? I’m Brazilian and have medium tone skin I’d say – yellow looks good on me but I had to get used to the brightness. At first I thought it was too much, even for me, but after a few days I loved it. Maybe give it another go? Are you a member of MUA? It’s an entire community of people who ‘get it’, it’s really great. If you’re not a member you should definitely join. : )

I totally agree with Mod About Brights containing the last gotta haves. (I mean, dating a royal seriously raised the bar…) Im just counting the days til the new china glaze collections.Thanks for the encouragement! You’re right, I’ve gotta wait until I’m inspired again.

and my white whale would definitely be yellow. I love Shorty Pants and The It Color but ended up giving them away because the results were disastrous. I had serious trouble with SP application too… maybe just a bad batch. I’m biracial and medium toned, I thought yellows would work for me. but its just never going to happen…

You have no idea how refreshing it feels to be able to talk about this stuff with someone who “gets” it!

Thank you and I LOVE white with gold too! I’ve been mulling over whether to buy OPI Oh So Glam and She’s Golden – I want them but I’m on a serious no buy. I fell off the wagon recently but I’m back on now. lol.

Oh, I can feel your pain. I do have a white whale – and it’s indeed white. I love all whites, especially ones with gold shimmer (like Orly Meringue) and they clash with my skin tone – I usually get an illusion of old-fashion gauze on my nails.

Jessica – I’m going to do a comparison of all the light lilacs I have, this time on my nails instead of on the white swatch board, as soon as I get Essie Looking for Love. So don’t rush that H2T order just yet. : ) And yes, I’m in a rut myself. The other night I decided to splurge and make a transdesign order – I just couldn’t figure out what to get. Since the OPI Mod Brights came out, there just haven’t been any newly released colors that I’ve *just* had to have. I’m also having a hard time picking stuff to wear. You just have to ride it out until you get excited for polish again.

I love LMS, I have yet to try my CtG. And that’s exactly what I mean, I love PH but it just looked soooo horrible on me. But it’s ok, I’m going to wear it anyway.

The only two colors I’ve really hated were OPI Light My Sapphire and Catherine The Grape. They just looked so miserably “blah” that I couldn’t stand wearing them. I mean, sapphire! Grape! Blue and purple, how could those ever go wrong?!

I like lilac on you. If I recall, you were the one who made me *NEED* Rescue Beauty Lounge Purple Haze :D
